Remember the first time you noticed those little green signs with numbers on them along the side of the road? I remember asking my dad what they were and he explained they were the replacement for what was once known as milestones. He went on to explain milestones were placed alongside roadways to help people know where they were and how far they had to go on their journey. Knowing this made trips in the family station wagon a lot more enjoyable.
Last week it is estimated 150 millions people watched or listened to Tiger Woods apologize for his marital unfaithfulness and for the impact it has had on his family, friends, business partners, fellow golfers and all parents who pointed to him as a role model for their children. For over 13 minutes he revealed a part of his heart that nearly no one had ever heard or seen before. Like you, I want to believe what we heard was genuine and from his heart.

For those of you who thought you were going to see Elvis, I’m sorry – he’s left the building, but hopefully in the weeks and months to come you will see Jesus through this blog. Since this is my first adventure into the blogosphere I must ask for your patience and grace as I explore this wonderful new world. Hopefully during our journey together I will be able to take you to the most amazing place I’ve ever been and that is in the heart of God’s grace.
